The views from my room were heavenly, overlooking the pool and vineyards. The basement had a games room and relaxation room, perfect for unwinding. The chateau had a restaurant, library, and even a jacuzzi inside the swimming pool.
Shame there was no elevator, but who needs one when the stairs are so nice?

My stay at Chateau De Camperos was absolutely delightful. The beautiful and grand chateau made me feel like royalty throughout my visit. The hosts were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. And let's not forget the highlight of my stay - the fantastic food! The homemade five-course dinner was simply exceptional and surpassed all my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable experience.

I absolutely adored the charming 19th-century ambiance of the chateau. The decor was tastefully done, with beautiful theme-based bed chambers that still retained their original feel. As a senior woman, I found the general areas of the hotel to be accessible and easy to navigate. The stairs were so nice that I didn't even mind that there was no elevator. Plus, the owner was kind enough to offer a freight elevator for suitcases, which was a great help.
One small thing that could make the vacation even better for senior people is if the children working there were a bit more attentive. However, this was only a minor issue and did not significantly impact my overall experience at the chateau.

We had a fantastic time at this charming countryside chateau. Located in the outskirts of a small town, the hotel is surrounded by a park and vineyards, offering a peaceful and beautiful setting. The room was enormous, overlooking fields of vines, and the bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The breakfast served was a typical Continental spread, with a variety of hams, cheese, and pastries. The chateau is also conveniently close to all the major wineries and a main railway line, making it easy to explore the area.
There were occasional noise disturbances, especially if you stay on the lower floors. Some guests experienced noise from other visitors or from the pipes in the bathroom.

The rooms at Chateau De Camperos are absolutely stunning! They are grand and opulent, making you feel like royalty. I loved the luxurious and regal ambiance of the red draped Asian room. The sumptuous bed was so comfortable. Each room is well-equipped with modern amenities such as a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. The spacious and light-filled large bedroom was a delight to stay in.
Personally, I found the decor of the Asian room a bit overwhelming, but others might enjoy it.

The rooms at Chateau De Camperos are absolutely magnificent! They have a majestic feel and take you back to the grandeur of the 19th century.
Personally, I found one feature in the room that I liked less. However, this is just my subjective opinion and others might still enjoy it.

We had such an incredible stay at this beautiful chateau! The room was enormous with amazing views, and it was super comfortable. The hosts were the most amazing people and made us feel so welcome. The food at dinner was absolutely delicious, and they really tried their best to cater to our needs. Despite being out in nature, the staff were incredibly friendly and the converted chateau was stunning. We also loved that dogs were welcome. we highly recommend this hotel.

We loved the impressive 19th-century house that gave a real Chateaux feel. The covered pool and Jacuzzi were perfect for enjoying even in bad weather. The small train station within 100 meters was convenient for limited travel options. The host was very nice and accommodating. The possibility of having dinner was a great option. Our room had a small fridge for drinks, which was a bonus. The bottle of Bordeaux and wine glasses in the room were a nice touch. Arriving late was no problem at this 4-room place. The location was ideal for visiting Bordeaux and the coastline. The host was welcoming, attentive, and had a great sense of humor. The building was well-preserved, and the themed bedrooms were fun. The bed was comfortable with crisp sheets. The pool was a great size and shape.
Felt great, no complaints.
